Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what Florida Mortgage Solvers collects when you use this website, how we use it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only.

Who we are

Our website address is https://floridamortgagesolvers.com.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, because both help us detect spam.

We may pass an anonymized string created from your email address, also called a hash, to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. You can read the Gravatar service privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After we approve your comment, the public can see your profile picture alongside it.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images that carry embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download those images and extract any location data from them.

Cookies

When you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These exist for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again next time. They last for one year.

Our login page sets a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data, and your browser discards it when you close it.

Logging in also sets several cookies that save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, while screen options cookies last for a year. Should you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.

Editing or publishing an article saves one additional cookie in your browser. It includes no personal data and simply records the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content from another website behaves exactly as though you had visited that other website directly.

Therefore those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. If you hold an account with them and remain logged in, they can track your interaction with it too.

Who we share your data with

Requesting a password reset includes your IP address in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

We retain a comment and its metadata indefinitely, so that we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time, although they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights this privacy policy gives you

If you hold an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you provided to us. You can also ask us to erase any personal data we hold about you. However, this does not extend to data we must keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where we send your data

An automated spam detection service may check visitor comments.
